Frozen Yogurt Banana Sweet Treats

Getting my toddler to eat anything other than berries is a struggle these days. Between her exclaiming “All done!” or flipping her plate off her high chair, I’m also going to start crying during meal times. But, I found a way to encourage her to eat her dinner (without using chocolate chippies as a bribe) and instead finding a healthy sweet treat for her to enjoy after dinner. Plus, this recipe for frozen yogurt banana sweet treats only takes 5 minutes to make and then a couple hours in a freezer. And (*fingers crossed*) it leads to a happy toddler during dinner time!

Ingredients:

Two bananas, sliced

  • Two cups of strawberry yogurt

  • Sprinkles (try to make it fun, like these ones I found at Target)

  • Mini muffin pan (I used this one from Target)

  • Airtight container or freezer bag

Directions:

  1. Put one banana slice in each muffin spot in the muffin pan.

  2. Cover each slice with yogurt.

  3. Top with sprinkles.

  4. Freeze for 2-3 hours.

  5. Remove from muffin pan and store in airtight container or freezer bag.

When it’s time to enjoy a little sweet treat, take out of the freezer for about 15 minutes before hand so it can soften a little bit. And I think it goes without saying that these are a GREAT treat for your teething baby or toddler. I hope you and your family enjoy!
